Cemetery Conservation Workshop – El Dorado, Arkansas
The 2019 Arkansas Historic Preservation Program Spring Cemetery Preservation workshop will be held at Presbyterian Cemetery on South Washington Avenue, El Dorado, Arkansas on Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
James “Rusty” Brenner of Cemetery Preservation Supply LLC (on Facebook here) and Texas Cemetery Restoration LLC (on Facebook here) will lead the hands-on workshop and cover topics including cleaning, repairing, resetting, and leveling gravestones as well as information on suitable cleaning products and preservation techniques.

Lunch will be served at the Presbyterian Cemetery – please inform us if you need a vegetarian option. Parking for the workshop is at the cemetery. Tents will be provided in case of rain. Chairs are available but participants are encouraged to bring a stool, knee pads, gloves and hats.
